Do you charge for telephone support?
NO WE DO NOT – Under no circumstances do we charge for telephone support for the cash registers or point of sale equipment that we sell. We will support products purchased from other companies
for $40 per hour, prepaid by credit card.
Do you charge sales tax? We do charge 5.92% sales tax for all orders
shipped within South Dakota.
We must charge 6.5% if your order is shipped in Minnesota. We charge 5% to 7% if your order is shipped in Iowa, depending on the
county it is delivered to. The sales tax amount will be calculated during the
checkout process.
How do I program my cash register?
All of our cash registers come with a combination programming and operation cash
register manual,
which will assist you with the use of your cash registers. If you do have programming
or operation questions, we will assist you on our toll free telephone number during
our regular business hours. We will do some programming on your cash register prior to shipping
for a fee. We will do more extensive programming for $60 per hour. Although we will do all that we can to assist you
with the programming of your cash register during regular business hours, it is ultimately your responsibility to program the
cash register once you receive it. We suggest that you try to read the information in the book to get a good understanding of
how the cash register programs and operates. Cables for peripherals are
available for sale on our website.
What is the warranty of my cash register?
All cash registers sold by Cash Registers Online are new in the box and come with the full
manufacturer warranty. Please see the Warranty Information page for specific cash register
warranties.
Can I return my cash register?
All cash registers require some setup from us and expenses are incurred every time an
order is processed, therefore, we must charge a 25% restocking fee if your merchandise
is returned. You can return the merchandise within 14 days of the shipping date. Returns
are not allowed after 14 days. See Return Policy page for more information.
Is ordering on your website safe?
Cash Registers Online uses SSL (Secure Socket Layer) technology to encrypt your credit card
information throughout the order submission process. This ensures that your credit card
information will not be read as it travels over the internet.
How do you ship your orders?
You may select your shipping choice during the checkout process. The most
common and economical shipping method is UPS ground. The rates are determined by the weight of your package.
Do you ship internationally?
We do ship to Canada and Mexico, but under no circumstances will we ship
to any other country outside the United States. No need to ask, we will not be
able to change this policy. You as the customer are responsible for all shipping charges and any other
fees that are associated with shipping out of the United States. You are responsible for any fees that may
be in excess of the shipping charges that are discussed at the time of your order that are charged by the shipping
company. Because you are responsible for all shipping cost, duties, and taxes, by ordering on Cash Registers Online,
you agree to allow us to charge your credit card for all such fees that are charged to us by UPS.
How much is shipping?
We ship all our products by UPS unless otherwise requested. We offer Ground,
3rd Day, 2nd Day and Overnight shipping. We charge according to the current
UPS rates. All rates will be calculated upon checkout.
Do you charge for Insufficient Funds COD checks.
We do not accept business checks, but if you do have an NSF check, we will prosecute to the fullest extent
of the law in your state. We will turn the check over to collections in your state for collections, including
all NSF check fees. Not only will we file a civil suit to collect our money, we will also turn the matter over
to the authorities in your state for criminal proceedings as well.
How long will it take for me to receive my order?
In most cases, we stock the merchandise advertised on our website. In
that case, you will receive your order within 3-7 business days, depending
on your location within the United States. In some situations we may need to
special order your equipment, which will prolong the shipping time. In this
case, you should receive your equipment within 5-10 business days. In some situations, the equipment may be on backorder from the
manufacturer and could take longer. If you
request to have your cash register programmed, we will ship within 2 business
days of your order.
